Police Services Board

1. THAT the Haldimand County Police Services Board hereby adopts the minutes of the regular meeting of the Board held on January 26, 2023, as presented; 2. AND THAT the Haldimand County Police Services Board hereby adopts the minutes of the closed meeting of the Board held on January 26, 2023, as circulated and to remain confidential.

1. THAT the Haldimand County Police Services Board hereby adopts the minutes of the special meeting of the Board held on February 9, 2023, as presented; 2. AND THAT the Haldimand County Police Services Board hereby adopts the minutes of the closed meeting of the Board held on February 9, 2023, as circulated and to remain confidential.

1. THAT the correspondence from Bailey Long, Chair, Crime Stoppers of Haldimand and Norfolk Re: Request for Funding be received; 2. AND THAT the Haldimand County Police Services Board support the Crime Stoppers of Haldimand and Norfolk 2023 initiatives with a $1,000 donation from the Police Services Board - Donations/Gifts budget.

THAT the O.P.P. reports for the month of February, 2023 from Inspector Kays, Haldimand County O.P.P. be hereby received as presented.

THAT the Haldimand County Police Services Board hereby receives the Board Financials and Current Reserve Figures, dated March 8, 2023, as information.

THAT the Haldimand County Police Services Board hereby receives the January and February, 2023 Haldimand County Provincial Offences Act Ticket Issuance Reports, as presented.

1. THAT the Haldimand County Police Services Board (PSB) advises the OPP, as outlined in the service agreement, and as per Section 10 (9) of the Police Services Act, they will be fully engaged in the detachment commander selection process; 2. AND THAT the PSB contingent of the joint committee shall include all PSB members on the Detachment Commander Selection Committee; 3. AND THAT this motion be circulated to the Chief Superintendent and Superintendent of the West Region Command.
