Council Meeting

1. THAT the minutes of the November 22, 2021 Council meeting be adopted as circulated; 2. AND THAT the minutes of the Closed Session of the November 22, 2021 Council meeting be adopted as circulated and remain confidential.

1. THAT Report LSS-17-2021 General Insurance Renewal – 2022 be received; 2. AND THAT the 2022 insurance policies proposed by Marsh Canada Limited and Arthur J. Gallagher Canada Limited be approved as follows: a. General Insurance Program including general liability, umbrella liability, community hall boards liability, environmental impairment liability, crime, automobile, property, volunteer accident and cyber coverage, b. Recreation Affiliates Policy subject to the agreement of the current recreation affiliate organizations with the Dunnville Soccer Park Corporation and Haldimand Youth Soccer, with each of their contributions to this policy premium capped at the amount of $550 each; c. Closed Landfill Policy, conditional on the approval and cost sharing with Norfolk County as joint owners; The Corporation of Haldimand County Council Minutes – December 13, 2021 2 3. AND THAT the General Manager, Corporate & Social Services have delegated authority to renew the policies in the first quarter of 2022, based upon the final premiums provided by Marsh Canada Limited and Arthur J. Gallagher Canada Limited to an upset limit of $810,000 inclusive of applicable taxes, approximately a 25% increase over the 2021 insurance premiums; 4. AND THAT staff report back to Council outlining the final rates and any significant policy changes for 2022.

THAT the minutes of the November 22, 2021 Committee of the Whole meeting be adopted as circulated.

THAT the minutes of the December 7, 2021 Council in Committee meeting be adopted with the following recommendation withdrawn to be voted on separately: Recommendation # 16 Re: Rescheduling of January 26, 2022 Council Meeting and March 30, 2022 Tax Supported Operating Budget Meeting

THAT the first clause of Recommendation #16 be deleted and replaced with the following: The Corporation of Haldimand County Council Minutes – December 13, 2021 3 THAT the January 18, 2022 Council in Committee and January 26, 2022 Council meetings be cancelled and replaced with a single Special Council meeting on January 18, 2022.

THAT Recommendation # 16, of the Council in Committee minutes dated December 7, 2021 be adopted as amended.

THAT the minutes of the Closed Session of the December 7, 2021 Council in Committee meeting be adopted as circulated and remain confidential.

THAT By-laws 1 to 39, as listed, be hereby introduced and given a first and second reading.
